BCMS Summer Fitness Program 2024

The BCMS Summer Fitness Program will take place this coming June and July. We are looking for male and female student athletes who are interested in building speed and power for their sport. 

Program Goals

• Keep middle school students active and in shape during the summer months.
• Teach middle school students to safely and effectively use weight training to increase muscular strength, speed, endurance and agility.
• Provide a fun, positive environment for students to work out with their peers. 

Program Dates and Times

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Session 1: 8:30-10am (Beginners)
Session 2: 10-11:30am (Advanced)

• Week 1: June 11, 12, 13
• Week 2: June 25, 26, 27
  (Off the week of July 4th)
• Week 3: July 9, 10, 11
• Week 4: July 16, 17, 18
• Week 5: July 23, 24, 25
• Week 6: July 30, 31, Aug. 1
  Final day of the program will be August 1.

Cost

• $100 per student (checks can be made payable to Buffalo Community Middle School)

Registration

Program brochures and registration slips are available in the Activities office. Please return all completed forms along with the participation fee to the Activities Office by June 3. Please contact the Activities Office if you have any questions. 

Weekly Events

Monday, May 13

Baseball - 3:30-5pm practice. 

Softball - Games at Princeton Middle School, the Black team will play first at 4pm followed by the Purple team at approximately 5pm. 

Boys Tennis - 4pm match at STMA Middle School West. 

Track - 4pm meet at STMA Middle School West. 

Golf - 4pm meet at Pebble Creek Golf Course. 

Chamber Orchestra - 3:30-4:30pm rehearsal in room 312. 

6th Grade Singers - 3:30-4:30pm rehearsal in room 423. 

Tuesday, May 14

Baseball - 4pm games vs. Becker at BCMS, two games played side by side.

Softball - 4:30pm games vs. North Branch at Northwinds, two games played side by side. 

Boys Tennis - 4:15pm match vs. Becker at BCMS. 

Golf - 3:30-5pm practice. 

Bison Singers - 8:25-8:45am rehearsal in room 423.

Chamber Choir - 3:30-5:00pm rehearsal in room 425.
