Doing What's Best for Kids!

Important Spring Construction Updates

Beginning March 31, construction will begin on a new, more secure front entrance at BCMS. Our goal is to complete this project before the start of the 2025-2026 school year. During construction, the current front entrance will be unavailable.

When students return from Spring Break on April 7, the following temporary changes will be in place:

  • New Main Entrance: All students, staff, and visitors will enter through Door 3 (Pool Doors).

  • New Front Office Location: Our receptionists will be temporarily located in the concession stand on the lower level near Door 3.

  • Visitor Check-In: Visitors must buzz in at Door 3 before entering the building.

  • John Ause Blvd. Closures: The road in front of the school will be closed to traffic from 8:15-8:45 AM and 3:15-3:45 PM.

  • Bus Loading & Unloading: Buses will use the lower parking lot (see attached map).

  • Parent Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Parents will use the upper parking lot by the football field (see attached map).

  • Visitor Parking: Visitors may park in both lots and along John Ause Blvd. Additional visitor spaces have been added near Door 3 in the lower parking lot.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this transition. These changes are temporary and designed with student safety and accessibility in mind. While we expect traffic to flow smoothly, we understand there may be occasional challenges. If you have the ability to have your child ride a bus to and from school, it might avoid some headaches for you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call 763-682-8204 or email Mr. Hayden.
