BCMS sport practices run Monday through Thursday, 3:30–5 pm, except on days they have games. Games are typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Game schedules can be found at Mississippi8.org
Football 7 - Games today at STMA MS East Only playing one game at 4 pm. Football 8 - Game today for only the B team at Monticello Middle School starting at 4 pm. Soccer Girls - Games today at Northwinds Elementary vs STMA. A team plays at 4 pm and B team about 5 pm. Volleyball 7 - Games today at BCMS vs. Big Lake. A Black team plays at 4 pm and B Black plays about 5 pm. White team is done for the season. Volleyball 8 - Games today at BCMS vs. Big Lake. A White team plays at 4 pm and B White plays about 5 pm. Purple team is done for the season.
Friday, Oct. 29 is an A day
-Students are able to use the locker room/lockers but must use a BCMS lock.
-Games are scheduled with other area local schools and schedules can be found atwww.Mississippi8.org
-Athletes are bused from BCMS to away games and bused back to BCMS.
-Most sports have an “A” team and a “B” team. Most sports practice for the first week or so and then teams are decided by the coaches. NO ONE ever gets cut from a team.
-Uniforms are loaned to students during the season and are expected to be returned at the end of the season.
Knowledge Bowl
All 6th, 7th and 8th graders can join Knowledge Bowl. Knowledge Bowl will start on Monday, October 25. Pick up a registration form in the Activities Office. Knowledge Bowl is a team contest in which students compete in written and oral rounds by answering questions related to all areas of learning. Knowledge Bowl is an interdisciplinary academic program for students. They attend meets where they compete with area schools. Mr. Nosbush is the advisor for the 6th grade team and Mr. Cagle is the advisor for the 7th and 8th grade team. Knowledge Bowl starts the end of October and runs through the first week of December.
Game Club
Pick up a registration form in the activities office for Game Club. It meets every Monday until further notice. Game Clubs meets in the lunchroom, 3:30-4:30.

Yearbook meets on Tuesday, 3:30 - 4:15 pm in Ms. Weise's room #M122. Yearbook WILL NOT MEET on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26.
