School Board Meeting - Public Comment Session

The School Board will hold a Public Comment Session prior to the start of each Regular Board Meeting, from 6:30-6:50 p.m.  The Session can accommodate up to 10 individuals speaking for approximately 2 minutes each.

Registering for the Public Comment Session:

Those who wish to speak to the School Board must register, using the Google sign up form below.  Unless otherwise posted, the Google form will be open beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday before the Regular Board meeting and will close at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Board meeting.  If more than 10 individuals request to speak, a random selection process will be used and priority will be given to BHM students, parents, residents and staff.

Speakers will be notified by email by 3:00 p.m., the day of the Board meeting with their time slot.  If you do not receive an email with a time slot, then you have not been slated to speak at the Board meeting.  You are invited to email the School Board at schoolboard@bhmschools.org to share comments or concerns.

If there are no registrants for the Public Comment Session by noon the day of the Board meeting, there will not be a Public Comment Session that evening.

At the Public Comment Session:

The Sessions will be held in the Board Room at Discovery Center, 214 1st Ave NE, Buffalo.  Individuals may enter through Door #2.

All School Board members who are available will attend the Session.

Professional decorum is expected at all times during the Sessions.  If at any time there are any violations of the rules of decorum, the Chair reserves the right to call a recess or end the Public Comment Session.

This link will be available by 9:00 a.m. the Friday before the School Board Meeting

and will close at 12:00 p.m. the day of the School Board Meeting.
