Activities

The middle school years are a great time to explore and become involved in school-sponsored sports and activities.  The BCMS activities program is designed to help students have fun, develop new friendships, advance skill levels, and have a challenging and rewarding experience.  The coaches and advisors share an appropriate philosophy toward the mental and physical well being of the middle school child.  Students should consider being in several sports and activities throughout their middle school years.

Football Helmets

In years past middle school students have worn purple helmets that have been provided by the school. In an effort to unify the football programs from community education up to the high school we are transitioning to all white helmets this year.

With this transition students now have the ability to wear their own helmets as long as they are up to date with current safety requirements. If you do not currently own one and would like to purchase one, you may get one anywhere, but we will provide options with different price points to accommodate all families. We also hope to have a buyback program in place as well.

We strongly encourage all families to purchase a helmet for their student as we believe this is an investment into their future as a bison football player. If you are unable to purchase a helmet, your student will be able to borrow one from the school to use for the season. This would need to be returned at the end of the season.
