  •  Allina/Buffalo Hospital Health Care Careers Scholarship         Deadline March 14          One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a  senior at Buffalo High School who is enrolling in a healthcare field at either a two or four-year post-secondary institution for fall of 2025 and who dis plays respect of their peers and teachers.  Applications MUST be turned into Student Services before the March 14 deadline.    Allina/Buffalo Hospital Scholarship Application

 

  • Nelson Masonic Lodge #135 Scholarship                  Deadline March 17       One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior.  Email completed application to mrossing@hotmail.com

 

  • Farmhouse Scholarship           Deadline March 30                Multiple $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to male high school seniors who are planning on attending the U of M – Twin Cities.  Scholarships will be based on Academic Achievement, Leadership Experience, Athletic Involvement and Career Motivation.     Farmhouse Scholarship

 

 

  • Harvey Buchholz Legacy            Deadline March 31                One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who resides or attends a high school in Minnesota.  Harvey’s legacy encourages all to “Give like Harvey” and to educate others on volunteerism and the importance of servicing the community.   Harvey Buchholz Legacy

 

  • SouthPoint Financial Credit Union          Deadline March 31             Ten $1,500 scholarships will be awarding to graduating seniors who are a current member of SouthPoint Credit Union.  Visit their website to apply and to review additional eligibility requirements

 

 

  • Workforce Development Scholarship          Deadline April 1          Hundreds of $2,500 scholarships at the 26 community and technical colleges of Minnesota State are being awarded to students pursuing a degree in one of the 9 high demand fields.  Visit MN state website for a list of fields and application process.       Minnesota State Education

 

 

  • Hanover Athletic Association Scholarship          Deadline April 5            Scholarship funds will be awarded to graduating seniors from BHS. Make sure to submit a completed application, copy of your transcript and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach.  If all three are not included your application will not be considered eligible. Applications must be postmarked by April 5.    Hanover Athletic Association

 

 

  • Corcoran Lions Club                          Deadline April 11             Students who live in the City of Corcoran are encourage to apply. Scholarships are based on academic, leadership, service to the community and a need basis.  Graduate must attend a college, trade or vocational school directly following graduation.         Corcoran Lions Club Scholarship

  • Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association Local Scholarship     Deadline April 20          Preference given to a recipient not having been awarded another community scholarship and based on economic need. Requirements: Recipient's parent(s) or guardian(s) must be members of WH - include current account number on application.   • Buffalo American Legion Post #270                    Deadline May 1                  Buffalo American Legion will be giving away two $2,000 scholarships.  The General Scholarship is for any graduating senior who has enrolled in post high school education.  The Vocational Scholarship is for any graduating senior who has enrolled in a post high school vocational or technical program.  The graduating senior must have/had a parent, grandparent or close relative serve in the United States military

     

  • Hanover Lions Club Scholarship            Deadline May 5              Hanover Lions Club will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to ten applicants at BHS who have either attend Hanover or Salem Lutheran Elementary Schools or who currently lives within five miles of Hanover City Hall.      Hanover Lions Club Application

                            UNDERCLASSMEN SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  • Minnesota Association of Townships        Deadline June 1             MAT will award up to five $2,000 scholarships to high school juniors.  Participants will submit a written essay on the topic of the role of townships in local government.  MN Townships

 

  • EXPIRED -- Horatio Alger National/State Scholarship           Deadline March 1            Our programs, which are targeted to students who have faced significant adversity in their lives and demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), is now for high school juniors (Class of 2026)!
